I don't think we can know; the tracking information doesn't provide much detail. Possibly it got dispatched to the wrong sorting center after posting, and was then redirected to the right one.

Normal transit time to Italy is 17-28 days. During that time, the tracking won't update -- it can't be updated again until the parcel arrives in Italy and Post Italia receives and scans it.
