I recently ordered televisions and mobile phones through Ebay. The seller stated that it was located in USA. Upon ordering the package is being shipped China Post. I had no idea that the items are allowed to be sold.

the tracking number given to me is;

RI404313212CN

2015-03-28 19:16:09 Guangzhou International Package Center Collected
2015-03-28 19:56:41 Guangzhou Package Collection Center Dispatched
2015-03-28 22:20:58 Depart from Guangzhou Package Collection Center ，xiayizhan Guangzhou Air port
2015-03-29 10:05:15 Guangzhou Exchange Office Opened
2015-03-29 14:42:39 Guangzhou Exchange Office Dispatched
2015-03-30 11:11:00 Arrive at Guangzhou Air port
2015-03-30 11:23:05 Depart from Guangzhou Air port

Should I assume then that as this is sent registered mail and those items are forbidden that the package will not contain what was described and I should open a report?

RI404313212CN is register airmail parcel which was shipped on March 28. I don't think the content is TV and mobile. register airmail max weight is 2kgs. mobile phone has battery which is not allowed by airmail. I believe you are scammed.
