I order from a seller on Jan 12, 2018 and I haven't received my package nor has the tracking has updated in 18 days, it has been in preshipment/origin is preparing shipment since Jan 20th. my number LS550607525CN...seller keeps telling me to wait longer and it's getting very frustrating. Can someone please help me.

LS550607525CN is delayed in Shanghai . It is still waiting for airline space to Chicago. You probably need wait one or two more weeks.

will the new year affect the shipping process. the seller ensured I would have it by the 19th for a wedding but it seems unlikely.

will the delay affect the chinese new year, while waiting on air space. the sedller promised I would get it on or before Feb 19th, since I ordered on Jan 12th.

It is hard to say if you can get it before Chinese New year. I suggest you wait one more week. If you still can not get the the goods, open dispute to seller for refund.
