I was told, for registered mail that I can do an inquiry on the whereabouts of my package, and that chinapost would investigate to find out where my package is at.
I've been waiting a month for my package now and it still has not come. i want to know where it is at.
How do I start the investigation?

You are shipper or receiver? Your are in China or anywhere else? investigation can only be started by shipper. If you are a buyer, the simplest way is to open dispute to paypal/aliexpress and claim refund.
