Hello,

Will you help clarify something. It is in regards to tracking #RH287457525CN.
There have been a lot of problems with this. The last answer that I received from you was that it may have been stopped at customs. It also said that it may have been returned to the sender.

I emailed the sender and he replied, "

Dear Debra Cummings :

I have got the notify from China post,they confirmed to me that your parcel is caught by china customs ,the customs asked for USD50 as duty taxes ,otherwise ,the goods will be destroyed by the customs in 7 days,so I hope that you can pay me USD50 to solve this problem ,as soon as you pay the USD50 to me ,I will summit it to the customs to release your parcel ,once the parcel is released by the customs ,you can get your goods in 5 days ,below is my western union info ,pls confirm it :

Is this a usual request? Will it be destroyed? Why wouldn't I send the money to customs to pay the bill directly? I have never been through this before.

Please advise me on what to do.

the seller is cheating. The parcel is original from china, now the parcel is returned to china again. he no need to pay any duty to get back the parcel from china customs. http://track-chinapost.com/startairmail.php shows the parcel was actually delivered in shanghai on Oct 10.

You should open dispute to paypal/aliexpress and claim refund asap.

Unfortunately I paid him through
Western Union. Do you have any idea as to why it was detained?

if your parcel has battery, magnet item, liquid or other item which is not allowed by airline, it will be rejected in customs security check point.
