Post EMS taking much longer than usual?

Is it because of the holidays? It's unlike the service to not provide any updates for 2 weeks.

I'm receiving from China, it's an EMS number, it's valid on Track17 and other tracking sites. The fact that I'm receiving and my package gets stuck in the out-going country's custom is what confuses me.

That's strange.
http://www.track-chinapost.com/sv/track?nums=EA249526490CN&fc=0 this link works for me, and it tracks the package to Guangzhou customs.

This website http://track.track-chinapost.com/EA249526490CN says that it has, on the 5th of December, left for Stockholm, but the national postal service has no information about the package, so that seems strange.

1. Yes to your question.

2. Here is the last tracking of your parcel:
2016-11-23 00: 00: 00.0 00:04:03 Shenzhen City to leave the processing center, sent to USJFKA

USJFKA = ISC NEW YORK NY (USPS)

3. Your parcel need to be scan by USPS to have a tracking. Sometimes USPS does not scan immediately on Arrival of parcel but later on.
