When I go on there it says

Any battery inside? if no , no need worry. it should be waiting airline space. the waiting time might take 4 weeks.

Small battery, but I had another parcel 2 weeks before with a battery and it was allowed through.

If your parcel has battery inside and detected by safety officer, it will be rejected. You received previous battery parcel because your are LUCKY.

WHy won't the safety officer allow the export of a battery?

airmail goes with passenger flight. some battery item caused fire accident in the air last year, so battery items were banned since then.
