Post Package from US at customs for nearly ten days

My package has been at "import customs scan" for over a week. There is no update. I called China Post and they asked if someone contacted me. I told them no. They said "wait, if there is any issue they will contact you". I'm not even sure if my phone number is attached. Is there any way to expedite this?

Sometimes "import customs scan" is the last status update you'll see on an inbound parcel; it may still be at customs, or it may actually be moving. If your recipient hasn't recieved the parcel yet, they can try calling China Post on 11185 or China Customs on12360 to see if there's anything they need to do.
