Thanks sir for all the questions that you have answered, i really appreciate it
Thank you
I just have one last question to ask and it is as follows:
I looked in to this matter furthermore and I called Canada post and they told me that my parcel is en route still to canada by boat which is supposed to come in a month or two from the day it was shipped by boat. Now you have mentioned earlier that this is an ems parcel and that it is supposed to arrive in 6-12 days for delivery and that customs is excluded at this timing however that is not the case the matter at hand is that it is travelling by boat while it is supposed to arrive in 6-12 days including days when it is at customs but it is still en route so can you please just explain me a little bit more about this? Just i need to know now if there is a problem with ems or something because i am scared this will arrive later than what it is supposed to. So again my question is, what id the problem and what should i do now?
1. First of all, the person how answer you at Canada Post did not no what he or she was talking about. Or they did know what they were talking about, but somebody at Canada Post in Vancouver screw up the process of E Packet. Meaning instead of putting your parcel in the express bin for Customs Officer to review your parcel they put your parcel in the Registered parcel bin to be inspected by Customs.
2. In normal condition an E Packet will take from the time is sent to the time it deliver between 6 to 12 working days (calendar days is 1 to 2.5 weeks). At the departing and destination country it has to through the Customs Office of each country. The time it spend at those office will need to be added to the 6 to 12 working days.
3. Look at this statement from this site:
China EMS/ePacket is a fast global courier service by China Post. Normally it will take about 1 to 2 weeks to arrive destination country from China.
Can be seen here: http://track-chinapost.com/
4. You can track your parcel here:
http://www.track-chinapost.com/track.php?code=LM047049908CN&fc=0
It is telling you that your parcel departed China on:
2016-07-18 09:20 Fuzhou, left the Fuzhou City to Vancouver (transfer)
And from the location of:
2016-07-18 03:26
CNFOCD,China, International item has left originating country and is en route to Canada
What is CNFOCD China, here is the answer:
CNFOCD FUZHOU EMS CHINA POST

5. Was your parcel delay because of the flooding in China possible. Was your parcel delay because of Canada Post employees negotiation possible. Your guess is good as mine but on thing is for sure, your parcel was never send by boat to Canada. May I suggest you read how the numbering system work in China Post on this site:
What are the stand formats of China Post tracking number? How to distinguish them?
6. As far as I can see, Canada Post screw up possibly on your parcel just like another Canadian here who had a parcel sent by E Packet and it took more than 20 days before it was out of Customs Office in Vancouver. Nobody at Canada Post will admit to that happening.
7. Just to confirm that the parcel left China:
International Mail# LM047049908CN Tracking Result
Summary
Tracking number Origin Destination Status
LM047049908CN CHINA CANADA On route
History Detail
Local date/time Activity Location Remarks
16-Jul-2016 16:30 Received by Post Office 351100
18-Jul-2016 03:26 Departure export customs FUZHOU EMS
8. Hope the above information will be of help to you. Just keep tracking your parcel on Canada Post site and eventually you will see it have some new activities.
Hope this help.
