you can wait 2 days and track the new number in http://track-chinapost.com/startairmail.php. if the result shows that parcel has not received by china post, then it means shipper is scamming you, you should open a paypal or aliepxress dispute immediately.

the seller had just posted me tracking number for my parcel RB412024685CN. As far as I know of your current numbers start with RC. Should I consider him a dishonest trader ...?

track it again on Monday in http://track-chinapost.com/track_chinapost.php . If it still shows as "parcel has not been received by China Post", then you should open a dispute without any delay.
