i have seen many people in the internet asking when will they get the parcel that has mailed from outside india.
Applicable to many tracking sites and Couriers to International Couriers

For eg : aliexpress mail and others from China Air mail.

u can first track ur shipment here in china

Many of us track the shippment using the indian site given below

But in most cases the Correct status report ends when the item is [b] sent to customs!!!! [b]

I ordered a shipment from china its reached INDIA on 5/5/2014 then send to custms on 16/5/14 then no status updates!!!

I was so frustrated i thought it was held in customs !!!!

If u see the status and send to customs and then nothing u can assume that after 1 week or less it sent to via Indian post

If the customs have cleared ur shipment then its sent to ur location via india Post!!!

If u see detention in Customs , then u have to pay something but still no need to contact customs , they will collect it directly from u while delivering the item

My parcel is also stuck at Kolkata Sorting Office (as per China Post Tracking) unable to track the parcel in India Post Website.

Contact foreign post office in dalhousie, near high court.

they have a customs department there , i have gone to that building , they check the items and then they send that to india post office.

But they always ask some money for that.....you know how customs department in india works.

Contact them you will surely get the parcel faster.

Go to dalhousie ask anybody high court then ask for foreign post office , go to first floor of the building.

Sometimes you might get wrong no or something do not worry try for sometime you will get it.

Ask them by giving your tracking no , they will help you to sort out status of your parcel, but still they also sometimes neglect the phone calls , then go to the dalhousie office you will get your parcel for sure.
