Post will i still get my package? what does attempted delivery mean?

I bought a baby diaper bag from china and its due for delivery between Oct 20-23, i tracked it and its showing me attempted delivery on Oct 17, will i still get this package or its gone back to china? What is china post customer care in the US?can anyone help? i couldnt get it online.
