2. All 7 parcels are going out of Guangzhou, 5 to Hong Kong and possibly after USA. One parcel to San Francisco and the parcel to Australia will land at JFK according to 17 track.

4. Delays are cause by this:
Holiday Season
Lack of room on Aircraft for Mail bags
China's smog is killing the productivity of air travelers and mail transport.

5. At the other end:
ISC CHICAGO is a mess for arrival parcels.
ISC NEW YORK, to many parcels are coming in from overseas, I have seen 2 European country telling their customer to be prepare for delay delivery for New York.

6. I have seen later parcel mail in China making it before your parcel. So I suspect that if a mail bag or bags are dispatched to an Aircraft and if that Aircraft has no more room or do not depart. Then those mail bags have to be reschedule and possibly they go in the back of the list.

2. This above tracking was possibly forgotten to be enter into the system. Human error I guess.

3. If the above tracking/information would show up in every tracking sites that would be good but it does not. At least the client would know that the parcel was still in china from the 02 to 17 Dec and was prevented from going anywhere because there was no room for the mail bag on an aircraft.

3. Since no more tracking is available either the parcels made it to USA or are still stuck in China.

4. What I have seen on a couple of parcel to USA, China Post are re-scanning the parcel to show on the tracking that the parcel never made out on the last date scan.

5. They must have receive thousand of complaint from client that they had to give back the money because the parcels was not deliver.

6. By now you must know the causes of the delays:
Holiday Season
China Post has too many parcels to send overseas
Not enough room on the Aircraft for parcels
Smog in China delaying Aircraft or cancelling them
Rescheduling of mail bags

7. I would tend to say that earlier parcels (Nov - 1/2 Dec) from China should take from 15 to 35 days and sometimes more to be deliver then the later parcels. It's all part of scheduling, you just can not
rearrange the schedule list all the time otherwise you will get mix up.

8. Also you have the location from where is coming out of China, Guangzhou and Shanghai, possibly the biggest place in China, they also created the biggest backlog into the system.

9. And don't forget the other side in USA, like Chicago and JFK. Sorry if the post is so long, I just hope other people read it also so they can understand a bit more how the system works. And I do realize that it's not funny waiting for a parcel. Neither for a seller getting constant complaint from buyer that the parcel has not arrive.

1. Not necessarily, It depends where the parcel is at in China and where it's going to and from where it will depart in China.

2. What you are looking at here in China mail system is thousands of parcels and hundreds of mail bag.

3. And you got the priority mail that come into play also.

4. The worst thing right now in China is the Smog. If Aircraft can not depart from Airfield then the mail is not going anywhere and they have to be reschedule.

5. I suspect China Post know approximately how many mail bags they can put into an Aircraft. So in the schedule they are planning that much mail bags. If they don't all go in, then they have to be reschedule for another departure not necessarily the same day.

6. If by any chance an early batch (25 Dec and up) of mail bags was lucky enough to depart China because the schedule work for them, then that it.

7. The simple way to explain that is if you go to your car dealer to get you car repair under warranty.
a. The will give Schedule you a date and time for the repair.
b. For whatever reason you can not make it to the dealer in time, you come in 2 hours late.
c. What is the dealer do, reschedule a new date and time. And I'm almost sure it won't be the next days.
d. So if somebody came a few days after you when you got your first date and time, now all of a sudden he is ahead of you.
