I have searched high and low and have no found much about this status. Should I be weary? The contents is a cell phone.

cell phone might have problem to pass security check. if the customs detected battery inside the parcel, they will reject the parcel.

OK. Thank you. Will that be updated in the tracking? Or if it stops updating, I should assume it's been returned?

if the status have stopped changing over 3 weeks, it should be rejected by customs.
