I sent a package from Shanghai to the United States on April 18. Current tracking information states that it is in the intake area in New York City. The last update was on April 25. The tracking number is CP334389115CN when I contacted USPS they said I need to contact China Post to have them file a international claim to locate the package since it has no record of going through to the USPS yet. Can you please assist with this matter?

If you want file investigation with China Post, you need bring your shipping receipt to original post office in Shanghai and sign document in person. This is really difficult and result might take half year. You also have to be in China to wait the result .

I believe you need contact USPS New York again. They are the only people who can find the parcel. If they can not help you, you can consider the parcel was lost by USPS.

I have contacted them repeatedly over the last week. It took that long to discover I needed to process a request through you as the UN requires that it needs to be made through the originating country of shipment. USPS has not yet received the package it is at the intake facility in New York.

The most recent date I have on the package: 到达【美国纽约】互换局 美国 2017-04-25 13:59:00.0

usps.com clearly shows the parcel was in ISC NEW YORK NY(USPS) on April 25.
china post tracking result "到达【美国纽约】互换局 美国 2017-04-25 13:59:00.0" means the parcel arrived US post center New York on April 25 at 13:59.

Both China Post and USPS tracking system have clearly confirmed the parcel arrived USA on April 25. I don't know why USPS tells you that they did not receive the parcel.
