Post "Departure Export Customs" - no change in status

I hope you can help me. I ordered a product (a watch with no battery) from China on July 2, 2017. Since July 2, the item has been showing the status, "Departure export customs" at Tianjin EMS. Does this mean the package was shipped out of China and is en route to the U.S.? Does it mean the item is still being held at customs in China?

Tracking number: LW504896431CN

LW504896431CN was shipped on July 2. It should be still in China now. You need wait 2 to 3 more weeks.

I have the same problem. The tracking number is LW416230325CN

Ever since June 11th the status has been "Departure export customs SHENZHEN EMS" I knew it would take a while to receive my package, but it's getting a bit ridiculous going on 4 weeks without any change in status. Any ideas on how much longer it'll be?
