Post Return package stuck at customs (21 Days already)

I need some support.

My return package to China is stuck at customs for 21 days today already.
I added the contact details of the seller but they said they haven't received anything from customs, so they can't refund as they package is not delivered.

What can i do ?

CL128136567NL arrived Shenzhen customs on Oct 18. It is still waiting for receiver to make customs declaration.
China Post can not finish the customs clearance because one of following reasons:
1)Shipper forgot to write receiver's mobile phone number in the parcel. Therefore, China Post can not send customs clearance alert to receiver by text message.

2)Receiver doesn't want to accept the return and make customs clearance. Such case often happen when the parcel is a return for refund. If this is your case, you need to report the case to the marketplace(Amazon, ebay, Aliexpress etc). If the seller does not response to your request, then try to contact your bank and see if they can help file charge back against fraud.

Thank you for your rapid response! I have contacted the company to contact the customs, but i'm afraid it is indeed option number 2...

Hi,

I have contacted the Dropshipper, they said they have not been contacted by the Chinese customs. How can i get the customs to contact them? The email is: [email protected]

Alternatively, can the packaged be returned to me (The Netherlands), in this case i can hopefully get it refunded through the creditcard company.

yes. if receiver doesn't make customs clearance and free storage time expires, China Post will return the parcel to Netherlands.

Thank you, when does the 'Free storage time' expires?
The package has been at customs since October 17th.

it all depends on the local warehouse manager's decision, no fix schedule. Normally 2 to 3 months after the goods arrives in the customs warehouse. but sometimes is can take half year.
