Post Trying to make sense of EMS LL113681778CN tracking.

So from both tracking websites, the tracker says it has left the originating country and is on its way to Canada. This happened on April 7th.

However, the tracker then says the package is now at Shanghai transfer terminal, on April 8th.

Just curious on what might be happening?

the parcel LL055636202CN was shipped From China Post Guangzhou office to Canada on April 8.

It is now some middle location between China Post system and Canada Post system(possibly airline warehouse in Guangzhou ,China or customs warehouse in Canada). You can not know exact situation when parcel is in such middle locations.

Such no-information stage might last 7 to 20 days until Canada Post gets the parcel from customs. Then Canada Post website will show its new status with Canada location.
