Can you please let me know what is happening?

It has been ‘exported’ and returned several times

http://track-chinapost.com/result_china.php?order_no=LZ207935167CN was rejected by airport safety check points for many times. It was finally returned to shipper on Aug 3. You will not get this item in future.

If this is an online purchase, you need open dispute to paypal/aliexpress for refund.

Thanks for your reply. I am left wondering how a simple bluetooth audio device was unsafe to go through the post??.. Is there any information about why it was unsafe?

I believe your audio device has battery inside. Battery item can not pass safety check .

Hmm I don’t think so.
The device is powered by a micro USB port and doesn’t have a battery

Tracking result shows “ rejected by safety check point ”,  this is usually caused by the parcel contains forbidden item. if your parcel contains  forbidden item, the parcel will return to the seller, you could  not get the goods. but if it has not, it should be resend to airline again.
Suggest you contact the seller or the website which you order the purchse to open dispute for refund or ask them resend the item to you.
