Hi, I need to know if this is a risk to buy this headphones from aliexpress, this is the only place i can get this item. i know it have magnets and might not clear the customs but seller says "We are responsible for clearing the customs of our country" in the product description page. thanks.

Aliexpress has buyer protection system. If you can not get the goods within protection date, you can open dispute to aliexpress and claim refund.

I have bought Full sized cans (KZ LPS) from aliexpress in the past and it did got delivered (i had to shell out a huge custom duty for it, though), except it took a very long time to reach me (2 months from China to India).

If the package comes in a original retail box and if it's a genuine Sony MDR 7506 as shown by the seller's page, then be wary of possible heavy customs duty.

BTW, Which country are you importing this to?

the product in your link is NOT genuine Sony MDR 7506. It is only compatible with Sony MDR 7506. You should be cautious. If you want to buy authentic brand name product, you should buy in your own country. Sony will not allow china retailer selling cheaper than India.

thanks for replies. I'm from Pakistan and these good quality headphones are not available here or their prices are double. this headphones does not comes in original packaging i guess, they send the headphones in a carrying case. although the headphones looks genuine (after watching few videos on youtube). i also asked few questions to seller if the item is genuine and about customs regulations but sadly they don't understand english and their replies are useless. so i guess i should not buy this headphones and go through so many troubles later.

@HussainM - You are right. It is too much of a risk to go through (guess Pakistan too have similar customs practice when it comes to importing heavy packages which are replicas of a known brand).

7506 is quite popular among DJs. If you can get, try Creative Aurvana Live (older version) which is even better than this one.
