Post No tracking data on ePacket

Hello all,

I bought an eBay item and the seller claims that the item was shipped on May 30 via ePacket, with this trackig number: LK071537676CN

However there is no tracking data associated with this number. It has been 11 days since it was allegedly shipped, and I expect there to be at least some indication that the package is in transit (i.e. some indication that China Post at least has the shipment).

I contacted the seller and he/she confirmed that the tracking number is correct and it is in possession of China Post. No tracking site seems to confirm this claim.

Can someone please provide some input on when I should be able to see some updates on tracking?

seller did not ship the goods and China Post never get this parcel. If he shipped the goods, http://track-chinapost.com/starteub.php?code=LK071537676CN will show some result.

You should ask seller to tell you what is the Real tracking number and REAL shipment date. Tell him you can verify shipment detail in china post tracking website and you will leave negative feedback in ebay if he lies again.

I asked him about this and he said that he gave me the correct tracking number. He said that he did indeed ship out the package.

In fact this is what he told me, verbatim:

"Thanks so much for your letter , so sorry about the inconvenience again . We have contacted the post office , they said that the goods have been sent out before they put information , your package is on our airport .they need a little time to deal with , could you please wait for another 3 days ? We are associated with the post office processing actively . hope for your understanding ."

The seller might plan ship the goods tomorrow. You can wait 3 days and see what happens. if you still can not track any result in http://track-chinapost.com/starteub.php, you should open a dispute to ebay.
