Hello! I mailed a medium-sized package to China on June 23rd through USPS. (It was sent out from New York yesterday.) It is first-class and is 10.5 inches by 16 inches. It is a flat bubble mailer. I addressed it to a friend in the Yuhang District of Hangzhou, but I forgot to put down her phone number. What should I do? Should I give you both her telephone number and home address? Should she contact her local post office? Please do help - thank you.

phone number is useless. If you have printed correct address in both English and Chinese, normally the parcel will be delivered without any problem.

Thank you for your reply. Next question: When it is delivered to the post office in Hangzhou, don't they need a telephone number to contact the recipient? Will they hold the package until my friend calls them or stops by about the package?

china post make delivery by address only. they do not call receiver.
