Just an update on this Guangzhou shipment issue.
Previously, it was widely believed (or we were made to believe) that if there is no update(s) for 7 days, then, it is safe to say or assume that the shipment has managed to leave the Guangzhou airport. But, unfortunately, this is not the case anymore. Please see below. This is the latest tracking on my shipment with the tracking number RS050660828CN.
The 2nd last tracking information was on June 15, 2016. Then, there was no update and I thought (and was hoping) that the shipment was on its way to me (I was checking on the local post web page for the tracking number since the normal ETA to my country is about 1.5 - 2 weeks). Today after 11 days of eagerly waiting (helplessly), there is a new update. However, (and unfortunately) it is the same as on the 15th i.e. arrive at the Guangzhou airport and was sent to airline. So ironic I don't know what happened to my shipment during the course of the 11 days. Maybe it has lost its way in no mans land.
So now, I on behalf of many other buyers here in this forum who are using China Post (whose shipments have to go through the Guangzhou airport), would like to take this opportunity to look for answers to these some simple questions. (1) How many times will our shipments have to arrive and sent to airline before it can finally made it out of the Guangzhou airport? (2) How many days should we wait to be sure that our shipments have finally left the Guangzhou airport (we were made to believe that it was 7 days before, but now obviously that number is no longer reliable)?
And based on the latest hard evidence, I would advice those "pros" here to stop giving false hope and promises on the status of shipments particularly those that have to go through the Guangzhou airport.
