I bought an item off ebay with a tracking number of 89018423910. it says Guangzhou Transit Station export security scan, can someone tell me if this is a good number and if there is any other tracking info available. the item is a large item, roughly 800 or so pounds being shipped to u.s. thank you.

1. This is the tracking of your parcel:
China Post Register Air Mail Tracking System
Parcel No.89018423910 tracking result
2016-11-24 10:54:17.0 Guangzhou Transit Station export security scan

2. You might want to confirm with the seller that your parcel of 800 pounds has pass the China Post Export Security Scan.

Hope this help.

I tried contacting seller but have not gotten a response. The problem I am having is the time stamp on the tracking is earlier than the time when I actually won the eBay auction. Thinking it might be a scam.

1. Then you should contact E Bay as soon as possible about your problem until it's to late.

2. Also I have never seen anything like this 800 Pound sent through China Post Ordinary Small Packet Plus. If your parcel would have been sent with a CP number it would have made more sense to me. But E Bay might be able to help you out. This might help you out to understand tracking number in China:

What are the stand formats of China Post tracking number? How to distinguish them?

Hope this help

The thing that is worrying me is it is showing that it was scanned at 10:54am on November 24th china time which would be 8:54pm on November 23rd where I am, but the eBay auction for the item ended at 3:19pm on November 24th my time, so how was it scanned to be sent to me 19 1/2 hours before I even bid on the item, sounds like a scam to me.
