Post My package is missing...

I sent a package on September 19 from China to Russia via airmail, last update in tracking system was September 23, till now no further updates and no package delivery. What shall I do now? The post office here keeps saying : wait wait wait. I sent another package early October and it already has been delivered.
CP334644881CN... @admin and people in charge, PLEASE, help me find the package... thank you

1. I hope you are aware of this for your parcel:
format 2: the number starts with “CP” and ends with “CN”, i.e. CP123456789CN
This is China Post registered surface mail. Normally it is much slower than airmail and might take up to 6 months to arrive.

This is the same service that I used for my other packages, I specifically asked at the post office for the rates and the delivery time. They told me it was not the slowest because it is by air and the price was much higher than the package that would take up to 2 months to deliver. So far all my packages except this one have had the same format CP.....CN and they were delivered within 3-4 weeks at most. Would you kindly help me track or check what might have caused the delay? TIA

3. So according to the above tracking your parcel is On Route to Russia, since Russia did not scan your parcel yet, then it means only 2 thing, the parcel is lost or misplace.

4. Since you are the sender of the parcel, you can ask China Post to do an official investigation of what happen to the parcel.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate the information provided. I have already made the inquiry about the missing package but I wonder what sort of outcome I may have? Would they be able to find the package eventually? Or is it lost for good??

1. The parcel could be lost, misplace, ripped open or got stolen. That all the possibility I can come to. If they find the parcel great for you if not, then it's bad for the system (china and Russia) and also you.

What sort of compensation can I get from china post? Will they refund me the cost of shipment? The value of the goods? Thank you

1. Was your parcel insure! if yes then you should get the value of the parcel. If not then you just lost the cost of shipment plus the value of the goods.

2. China Post is a better place to ask those questions.
