Hi,

I sent a package from Shanghai to Auckland (parcel number. CP372020453CN) on 13/12/18. I tracked it online and saw it got to Auckland on 21/12/18 but was then sent back to China on 27/12/18 and it’s currently in Hong Kong.

I have contacted New Zealand Post and Customs and they told me I need to ask China Post why it has been sent back.

Could anyone please tell me why it has been sent back to China and how I can get it sent to Auckland again.

Thanks,

Richard

After New Zealand Post sent back the parcel to China, you can not get it back from China Post. You need ask seller send you a new parcel or ask refund from seller.

This was a package of my own things including tshirts, a jacket, trainers etc. I sent it myself when I was in China as I have moved to New Zealand and so it wasn’t something I’d bought from a seller.

Do you know how I could get it back?

Thanks

you can not get back your parcel if NZ post returned the parcel to China. It is not a good idea to use such surface parcel to ship goods from china to oversea. Very high lost and return rate.

Your parcel arrived China Post office in 邮政黄浦区黄浦投递所 on Jan 3. If you have some friend in Shanghai, you need ask your friend to pickup the parcel from above mentioned post office. If the free storage time is over, China Post will discard this parcel.

Well I didn’t know it was unreliable or I wouldn’t have sent it!!

I don’t have any friends in Shanghai so can’t get them to send it back.

It is still with China Post as I have seen with the online tracking. New Zealand post said it was sent back as it didn’t have an address label on it which has obviously happened whilst in the hands of China Post and therefore it is the fault of China Post!!

I want my package to be sent back to New Zealand for me to collect!!
