Post It has been one month without tracking update

I have a package being sent from the US to China. It arrived at a transit airport in Beijing on November 1st but there has been no update since. Where is my package ? People tell me it could be stuck in customs but when I call Customs they say they can't do anything nor do they deal with packages. Is there a correct number I should call? Everyone, including Customs, says I must simply wait for my package to get to me. The company resent another package to me. Below are my two tracking numbers. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

usps.com shows both parcels are heading to Beijing airport on Nov 26. But China Post has not any arrival record. You need contact USPS to file investigation .

That is no correct. Tracking shows they arrived in Beijing, one package arrived on November 1st and the other one arrived on November 26th

China Post has no arrival info of both parcels . Normally if the parcel arrived China, it should be delivered within 10 days.

Are you using USPS first class mail or register airmail? If First class mail, then China Post does not scan such parcel . China Post regards USPS 1st class parcel as ordinary parcel , a cheapest international parcel service which will not be scanned ) and gives lowest sorting and delivery on sorting and delivery. You can not know where it is and if it is lost , hold by customs or any other issue.

Next time, you need use USPS register airmail or prosperity mail to send mail to china. These kind of parcel has detail route status and delivery status in China.

I was using first class mail. Is it possible that it is held up in customs or still on its way to me? Will I get a notification on my phone that is has been delivered to my address? Do you have a number I can call for customs to see if package is stuck there?

it is possible that the parcel is held up in customs, it also might be the problem in the address which caused china post sorting center worker does not know how to route the parcel to correct destination post office( especially when parcel has only English address).

Unfortunately Neither customer officer no China Post worker will notice receiver by phone. Actually none knows how do they handle such "problem" parcels. Some users report that they finally receive the return after a couple of months. Some people even lost those parcel forever.

That is why we always recommend our user to us USPS register mail or Priority mail to ship goods to China. If parcel has any problem, you can track the parcel location and status in China Post database system and call China Post 11185 hotline to re-delivery or pickup the parcel.

If packages can get stuck in customs why is Customs telling me they don't do packages? I have heard if my package gets stuck in customs I may have to pay a tax to get it. But customs is telling me this is not the case. They are lying.

customs officer is quite irresponsible to tell you the parcel is not in customs.

Actually nobody including his supervisor can know the parcel's current status and location because none scan and update the parcel in China.

We can only say the parcel location is unknown. You need contact USPS to file an investigation. Then China Post will manually search it from container to container, warehouse to warehouse when they have free time. it might take a couple of months.
