I was buying some stuff from Aliexpress today and I saw a very cheap cover for my phone ($0.19) with free shipping so I bought it but how come the seller can handle the shipping fees and how much does China post and my local carrier will get from he seller!!

I mean it's unbelievable regardless of the seller revenue and cover cost but how come 2 shipping companies will split the shipping fees I mean the fuel alone will be more than the total cover cost

how does that work?

That's weird. the seller better to buy his product and rate him self maybe better than losing all that money.

But I found many products like that and I bought few of them and the orders per item are in thousands on aliexpress. even sending a white paper it will cost you more than 0.19$. it's not logical that for example China post will get 0.05$ for shipping and USPS for example 0.05$ for delivering to my home it's not logical

do you know how much are china post rates for USA for example like the smallest envelop or parcel size?

tbh I don't trust Aliexpress stores ranking it's so messed up. So far it happened with me with around 3 sellers I buy an item and then they tell me for example they won't provide tracking number or ship by different method and if I don't agree I should cancel the order but choose a fake reason as "I don't want the order anymore" rather than "the seller can't ship by the selected shipping method" because it has influence on their store ranking and once I don't agree they mark the item as shipped with fake tracking number and let me wait for 10 days to open a dispute and even in the dispute they ask me to choose fake reason or they will accept the dispute on the last minute before it gets escalated as a type of punishing or idk why. they say it has a "faster processing time" if I choose a fake reason which isn't true at all.

Another issue is a seller shipped by a virtual shipping company and the item is marked as delivered while in reality the item isn't even sent and opening a dispute and winning it will be so hard if the item shows delivered.

Many sellers on Aliexpress have bad behavior and trick the system by threatening buyers to wait if they don't choose a fake reason while canceling the order and Aliexpress isn't really taking any actions I reported many sellers and they still there so I don't really trust Aliexpress ranking at all.

Amazon I believe is much better and safer and trusted even eBay is good. Sorry that was off topic but just wanted to share my experience
