I have seen at China Post Trackin system that One Item that I have returned (bought on ebay), track id RD 656662165PT, has apparently arrived to Customs on 21 sptember, but not yet delivered.
Can you inform if the addressee has been notified and how this works?
If the seller doesn't want to receive the item what happens? It is returned automatically to me within a delay?
What can I do?

It should be returned after something like 15 or 30 days if not picked up, but I don't see any tracking that would indicate its return. Unfortunately it's not uncommon for something to be picked up and that not to be recorded in the tracking information.

You should be able to open an inquiry about your item with your local postal service (CTT Correios de Portugal). They will contact China Post and ask them for proof of delivery or the disposition of the parcel.
