Hello, as you can see I have a tracking problem.
I ordered a thing for me and my friend with Aliexpress on June 2nd, and to this day I still haven't received any updates except for "The seller has shipped your order".

The number is RS488833682NL (from China to Italy), can someone with more experience than me help me out?
The Buyer Protection will end on August 8th, the same day I'll travel to Paris for a week, and I won't be able to check for any updates during that period.

My questions are:
Is the tracking number fake?
If so, should I open a dispute before leaving, or should I wait till I come back?

I also tried to message them a few times, they simply ignored me. That looked sketchy as well.

Edit: OK so, I wrote them I was going to open a dispute in 24h because they wouldn't say a word to me. Literally a few minutes later I got my first answer, saying, and I quote, "PLEASE WAIT SOME DAYS".
So I guess I'll wait a few days (my friend asked me to wait a week but we'll see) and hopefully they'll do something.

http://track-chinapost.com/startairmail.php shows your tracking number is invalid. you should contact seller for correct number. If seller can not give you a valid tracking number, open dispute to ebay against fraud.

1. Maybe you could tell seller that the tracking number he sent you is wrong or just tell him it is a fake tracking number. Maybe he made a mistake in the number. Also give him the site to check his tracking number.

2. Depending on his answer, you could send EBay an EMail telling them that the seller send you a Fake tracking number and they can verify the number on the site I provide you. They need to start the procedure to get your money back.
