Post 5+ days to initially scan/process parcel?

Hi there,

I understand that it's a busy season for all things post, but a seller has given me a tracking number (RL056046445CN) that has yet to begin processing. Supposedly posted on the 4th, it's now the 9th with no initial tracking information.

The seller's responses have been fairly unhelpful to this point, and appear to be copy/pasted, but they have confirmed the shipping number to be accurate.

Would the Christmas rush be so busy that my parcel legitimately hasn't been scanned yet in this 5 day gap? I understand this includes a weekend in the mix, but I know that Australia Post are operating on weekends to deal with the crush, I can only assume that China Post are doing the same.

Any advice would be great! Ta :)

Thank you very much for chasing that up. I have contacted the seller, and will hopefully hear from them soon on the matter.

They have posted an identical auction (as they supposedly had multiples in stock), so I would hope that they've just miss-typed things as opposed to leading me on a wild goosechase.
