Hi first time had some unusual experience with Chian Post
normally the shipment period to sri lanka is 10-15 but this time it's 23 days
Do you know why...?
also i have some ordinary small packets getting delay
is their any holidays or mail traffic going on...?

1. In China there was a National holiday from 01 - 08 Oct. So when the China Post started to work on the 09 Oct, it was the chaos for the mailing system. Every parcel even express one are going late out of China.

2. This is probably the main reason why your parcels are late to get to you. There is backlog of mail everywhere in China Post.
