Good evening:

during my trip to Beijing i sent myself 4 parcels from Beijing to Mexico, so my family can recieve them, however these 4 packages, each of 20kg have not arrived to Mexico at all in almost 3 months already, the 4 of them are held in Japan for some undisclosed reason, and their status has not been updated for quite some time, this is the status shown for all of the packages :

2016-08-02 14:34:00.0 arrive Japan 川崎 Transit Station

the parcel are all heavy surface parcels which goes through sea. You might need wait about 3 to 6 months to get the goods.

1. On the Japan Post site their is a notice about parcel from China to Mexico going through Japan. Here is the notice:
Notice of delay in conveying airmail items to Mexico

January 28, 2011

As a delay has occurred in delivery at the designated mailbag-exchange airport in Mexico with subsequent further delay in handling mail items, we are announcing that mail items sent by air as given in the table below are delayed in delivery to the addressees in Mexico.
Please understand that Japan Post Service Co., Ltd. is asking Mexico Post to quickly improve this situation.

2. You can go on the Japan Post site and track your parcel here:
http://www.post.japanpost.jp/int/index_en.html

The tracking is on the right side under Confirm Delivery Status.

3. You can also track your parcel here:
http://track-chinapost.com/track_global.php

It's like if the parcel are waiting for some thing to happen, they are all saying this for their last tracking:
Arrival at transit office of exchange KAWASAKI

4. Because the parcel departed from China you should inquire to China Post but because nobody speak English on the phone you could try to ask Mexico Post to ask Japan Post what is going on with the parcel from China destination Mexico transiting in Japan.

5. When you go to a local Mexico Post try to talk to the supervisor and bring with you all the tracking you can about the parcel so he can see the problem and understand what is going on with your parcel.

6. Mexico Post might be able to send an internal message to Japan Post to find out what is happening with your parcel.

Hi guys, I have the same issue as this.
My track number is CP307947891CN(it's one of four parcels, FYI) and I sent this from Beijing to Mexico in Sep 2016.

2016-09-08 13:58:59.0 leaving 双井post dept. ，next station 京大平面
2016-09-09 09:15:29.0 Beijing Transit Station export security scan

2016-09-26 15:22:00.0 arrive Japan 川崎 Transit Station
2016-09-27 09:15:00.0 川崎 arrive customs

it's Feb 2017, which means it already took us 5 months. Can I receive them? Can I even know what't going on with my parcels?

I've talked to the China post on the phone, and they said they already sent to Japan, so want us to talk to Japan. And then, as they advised us, we talked to Japan, and they said they already sent to Mexico. But this Mexico post has no update about my parcels and as you can see the track record above, it doesn't seem that my parcel has been arrived to Mexico yet.

can you pls tell me the solution? so many valuable and important things are in there, and I need them back. if I was informed that this would take 5 months to arrive, I wouldn't send them by ship.

your seller used surface parcel to ship the goods which goes through sea and very very slow. travel time of surface parcel can be 2 to 6 MONTHs.
