http://track-chinapost.com/startairmail.php shows both parcels are still in China. These are china post economical register airmail which has low priority to catch flight. You has less than 30% chance to get them before Xmas.

Reading the previous posts above I would say if they are waiting for flight space then yes they were shipped.
