I mailed a package (The USPS customs declaration code is LC826762528US) from USA to China on 9/14/15 thru USPS (so it's now one month ago), but the party in China has not received it yet. I asked the post office here, and they told me the Customs in China has not scanned it yet, because otherwise he would see the status as scanned by Chinese Customs.

Incidentally I mailed another pkg (LC826762704US) to another city in China on 9/18/15, and got the same fate.

Is this normal? How can I find out when Customs will scan the packages, and when packages will be delivered?

LC826762528US is USPS first class mail (tracking number like L****US). China Post does not scan such parcel. You can not know its real delivery status, either delivered, delayed or lost.

Next time you should use register mail(tracking number like R****US) which will be scanned by china post and can be tracked in China Post tracking system.
