i ordered this in december and it got to america and to utah but tracking then said it went back to california a day later. i called my local post office and he said it may be stuck in a mail loop. i contacted the seller in china and they said i needed to call the local china post office to set up a pick up. there arent any china post offices in america that i have seen. please help thanks.

What sometimes happens is a barcode on the package gets picked up by the USPS automated sorting machines as a zip code instead of the USPS bar code. The package gets to the zip code post office associated with the wrong bar code. They notice its miss-routed and sends it back to the USPS distribution center. The package goes through the sorting machine which puts it on the truck back to the wrong PO which returns it again. This is the loop mentioned. Unless it gets caught and relabeled at the wrong post office, eventually the package gets thrown away. A quirk of the automated sorting. The seller usually offers a refund and an apology.
