Post Missing USPS Tr# CW937052456US

According to USPS tracking, CW937052456US departed Shanghai (Pudong) on September 30 at 9:28 am. It has yet to make it to its destination in Huaqiao. The postal code may have been missing from the package, and I will provide the full destination address if necessary.

Unfortunately, there is no way to alter the address of a parcel in transit. China Post will do its best to correct the address and deliver it to the correct place. If it can't be delivered as addressed, it should be returned to you.

The address on the package was correct, just missing the postal code - hopefully it will make it, since there's only one Kang Chiao International School in mainland China! Though I'd still like to know where it is in transit.

postal code is not very important for proper delivery in China, but correct address in Chinese is. Please noted many postman in China can not understand English and they might throw those English-address-only parcel into undeliverable packages.

If you only printed English address, you should ask receiver call china post hotline 11185 and try to pickup the parcel. According to our tracking result, the parcel has arrived China on Oct 1st. If everything was ok, it should have been delivered by Oct 8.

Thanks - obviously things are not ok, as I have yet to receive it. I will attempt to call the hotline for clarification. Also, would the Golden Week holiday possibly account for the delay? I don't want to panic just yet.

yes. Golden week might have caused some delay.

I've called the hotline, and found out that my package is in Suzhou Customs, but I can't get any further than that - what should I do next? Is this something that I just have to wait for, or is some action required from me?

No, but it's sort of close - we're in Kunshan, the Huaqiao Economic Development Zone. Here's the full address in Chinese and English (and apparently the USPS isn't allowing printed Chinese labels to be affixed to packages - too bad if the sender can't write in Chinese!)

昆山康桥学校国际部
中国江苏省昆山市花桥经济开发区西环路500号 (昆山康桥学校东大门),215332

Kang Chiao International School (International Department)
No. 500, Xihuan Rd., Huaqiao Economic Development Zone,
Kunshan City, Jiangsu, China, 215332

All of the address was on the package except the "215332" according to the sender.

Kushan is close to Shanghai, however, it belongs to Suzhou. if your parcel is in Suzhou customs, normally it will be delivered to Kunshan in 2 to 3 days. If not, it means your parcel has some delivery problem. you should go to China Post Suzhou office in person and pickup the parcel.
