Hello,

My name's Logan. I had shipped a package from the US on June 3rd. Here are the specifics:

Package: Brown 1st class USPS brown envelope containing documents of little value
Type: Registered 1st Class mail

Last USPS update: Departed Beijing on June 11th
Last ChinaPost Update: Beijing security customs

From website:
2015-06-07 06:26:00.0 绾界害 customs scan
2015-06-14 10:10:28.0 Beijing Transit Station security scan
2015-06-14 14:41:50.0 Beijing Transit Station customs scan (domestic transit )

So, as you can see, the official update (I'm guessing) is China post's n June 14th of this year. So, does this mean the package did not depart Beijing yet? How come there is not a destination listed on the tracking information on the bottom of the tracking page?

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

My apologies about that. Sometimes I tend to forget the obvious details when I'm being as descriptive as possible. My bad!

The destination column normally shows country only (which obviously is "China"). So it is useless for you. The parcel now is now in Beijing customs and I believe your receiver will will get it in this week. If not, you can ask receiver call china post hotline 11185 and inquiry delivery schedule.

That's awesome! Thanks so much for the information, I really appreciate it. Thank god for people who thought of websites like this and for the people who take the time to help international illiterates like myself.

Quick question: about how long does it usually take for packages to clear customs? It contains three sheets of paper containing information about my business for a friend moving here to the US. Does customs in Beijing open each package before delivery or will it remain intact? Just asking because I don't want him to think that anything contained therein was stolen.
