I recently order from an online store and have been tracking the package, so far the updates seem legit and it says the package is on its way to LAX from China, but I am scared because there have been rumors that this store has scammed people.

http://track-chinapost.com/result_eub.php?code=LY710068854CN shows the parcel is waiting for flight space to LAX. The shipment is real but we are not sure if the final destination is your address. You might need wait 10 to 20 days to see if it will be delivered to you.
