Your package should be waiting with a huge pile of other packages for custom cleareance... You should see your update around next week, if not. Call Canada post.

Just called and told me they can't do anything until it's cleared by the CBSA, just need to wait.

Anyone else in 2018 with a parcel from China sitting in Richmond for more than 2 weeks?

I don't know if it's that uncommon, just the other day on Twitter someone was asking Canada Post why their parcel had been sitting there for 3. And like you pointed out, during the Christmas rush it was 4 weeks or more.

Wooohoo! Thanks for the update, and for sharing the good news :)

We desperately need some reform over at Canada Post, it quickly becomes obvious when one starts sending or receiving international mail.

Just to give an update on this parcel: LM136874992CN

I never actually received the package. It's showing as delivered in my city but no one came and I was standing near the door the moment it went "Out for delivery" until "Delivered" (6:29AM - 9:44AM).

I called CanadaPost and only the sender of the parcel can start an investigation, nothing can be done from the receiver side. I asked my seller to confirm my delivery address, and if he could start the inquiry with Canada Post and said he will. After multiple times I asked for updates, he just stopped replying and fully refunded the purchase. Oh well, 4 months of waiting for nothing ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I decided to try again with another seller and also never received the package, once again with a legit tracking number. Wasn't e-packet, I got Registered instead, so no tracking available past China. The tracking is now expired after 2 months, and the seller is no longer registered on ebay: RM977434541CN

Meanwhile, I order some other $5 - $10 items also from China and they all arrive after 3 weeks..!

The first seller also has good feedback so I really wonder what happens with those parcels. Stolen from the delivery truck? Shipped to an address close to mine with paperweight in it? It's really strange because these are the only 2 times I never received a package out of let's say more than 100 times ordering from China, and at least half from ebay alone ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
