The package tracking on the USPS website changed to in transit on July 31 so I thought it would arrive in the US shortly but today it changed back to Origin Post is Preparing Shipment on the USPS website but remains the same on the Chinese system. Why would the tracking go back to pre-shipment when it already said it was in transit.

Is this normal, does it mean that it really never left China?

Thanks for any help in deciphering this.
