I've been waiting over a month for this package and it's been stuck at "Export Customs Scan".

Is the package simply lost or is there a chance that it could still arrive?

your parcel is NOT necessarily lost. CP276917518CN is surface parcel, very slow. you need some patient. such surface parcel might take 2 months to arrive.

It has a battery, is that a problem?

if the parcel has battery inside and was detected by safety officer, the parcel will be rejected or even destroyed. your seller should not use register mail to ship battery item.

If the package was rejected or destroyed, would the status of the package be updated?

And if the battery was not detected, could it be detected and rejected by US customs?
