2. If the tracking number was given to you by UK Post, you should be able to track it on UK Post. I have track the number JJ618499509GB on this site:

3. If the tracking number was given to you by a Chinese seller, he his trying to scam you. Normally China Post number will be something similar to this:
Example of tracking number
Service indicator Serial number Orign country written in the ISO country code format
RH 115231771 CN

4. Number from one country goes to another country with the same number. It does not change when it arrives into the other country.
From Start to finish you have the same number.
