Can anyone help me with understanding the status of my parcel to Songgang, Shenzhen?

The tracking number is: RU945036720GB

For the past three days tracking has been saying : ' 燕川投递 attempt delivery ', but I don't understand what this means exactly. Does it mean that they have the wrong address or that for some reason they were not able to get someone to sign for it?

the parcel now is in destination post office but has delivery problem(either address is wrong or receiver does not want to accept the parcel). You can ask receiver call china post hot line 11185 and try to pickup the parcel. if receiver gives your negative answer, normally it means your receiver is trying to avoid accept the parcel.

I am the receiver of the parcel. Would it be better for me to pick up the parcel from the post office if it's open on Saturday or Sunday? If I have the address of the post office I could pick it up.

As per baidu.com, China Post 燕川投递 office address is:
宝安区松岗燕罗大道华佳购物广场旁边
tel:27146422
You can try to go to that place and see if you can find the parcel. If not , call China Post hot line 11185 and pickup the parcel.
