Post RU tracked from China to Canada

Hi, I purchased something from eBay. The buyer listed shipping as epacket which usually takes 2-3 weeks to get to Canada. But the shipper shipped it as "RU tracked from China " tracking starts with RU. Seller said there has been delay with epacket lately and said this shipping method takes 7 to 20 days to get to Canada. Is this true? My experience with registered airmail from China is 2 to 3 months. Is this" RU tracked from China " similar to epacket? Thanks

RU is china post register mail not ePacket. ePacket number starting with L.

register mail to Canada is very slow(might take 4 months to reach Canada receiver). ePacket is much faster (only 2 weeks can reach Canada).
