Hello China post volunteer,

Could you please provide additional information for parcel CP325287413CN. It says it is now in transit somewhere but the Chinese translation riddles me.

CP325287413CN left China on Jun 12. It arrived an oversea post transit hub on Aug 12. Not sure which is this oversea post hub.

If the parcel weight is less than 2kg, normally this oversea transit hub is in Europe and you will get it very soon.

If its weight is over 2 kgs, then this oversea transit hub should be in Japan, Singapore or Hong Kong. It will go through sea and you still need wait another 30 to 90 days to get your parcel.

It is more than 2kgs so it is probably still in Japan, Singapore or Hong Kong. How can the parcel still be in Asia after 3 months? I expected it to be in Europe by now.

if it is over 2 kgs, such CP***CN surface parcel will go through sea route which is very very very very slow. It is very common that such surface parcel will take half year to reach Europe and has high lost rate.

It is not a good idea to use such cheap service to ship important or expensive item.

What happens if they lose the item? It is our personal belongings that we sent from China to Europe. I expect there must be some reimbursement?

claim reimbursement is not easy. You need go back to the original post office , bring your original receipt in person , file an investigation, and claim compensation. the procedure is quite long and compensation is no more than 200rmb.

If you have important thing , you should use EMS instead of such cheap register surface mail to ship goods.

Luckily the parcel has arrived yesterday at Malpensa Airport in Milan. Can you confirm this Chinese translation?

yes. Italy post notified china post that the parcel arrived Malpensa on Aug 20. But not sure how long it will arrive Netherlands. As it is in Europe now, hopefully it should be transit to Netherlands in next 2 to 3 weeks.
