How much longer would you recommend I wait now before I possibly contact the seller about this package being lost/gone?

1. Maybe your parcel is not E Packet after all, you should confirm with seller that the CX number he gave you is really E Packet tracking number. If not then the wait should be much longer.

He's stating its ems, and I had 2 parcels with the same CX prefix that were shipped after the 14th and had already arrived

1. Then there might be a slow process at JFK for your parcel. I have seen also here that parcel was not scan by USPS and ended up in a USPS facility. Like normal scanning would do, arrive in USA, next scan going to Customs, then going to a USPS facility.
