My package was sent almost 3 weeks ago, but it still says that it's at "shanghai EMS".
Is there a way that I can know where my package is right now (In china or US)? Like someone that I can call to ask?
I tracked it on this site: http://www.track-chinapost.com/track.php?code=EA250555312CN , and there's a check mark next to USPS. Does it mean that USPS had my package? And when should I expect my package to get an update?

2. I guess we are not seeing the same thing about your parcel. Your parcel has left China to USA to JFK on the 08 Nov. Now it's up to USPS to scan the parcel on arrival or when they have time to do it. After it will go to USA Customs for clearance.

3. Your parcel is fine, you need to be patient and continue to track your parcel on the USPS site for any new movement. In case you are not aware:

China Post Express Post Service (EMS). Normally it is much faster than airmail and might take one to four weeks to arrive.

thank you for the help! So does it mean that my parcel is in the US since around Nov. 8th? What is taking so long?

1. Read back para 2 above.

2. Here is a general statement for any Country in the World:
Customs operates on their own schedule, and they don’t care how badly you want your package. Some places open and inspect almost everything, some don’t; some places process packages very efficiently, some do not.
