Send item abroad (EDI-received) "EDI" means "Electronic data interchange". In general, your item has been sent abroad . Besides, the item tracking data has been transferred to another computer (the computer of the destination country where your parcel/item will be delivered to).

1. Please do remember it's only an Estimate time of arrival, it's not rock solid. It might give you and idea when the parcel should be deliver but that it. Plus you need to exclude from that the time the parcel will spend at your Customs Office.

This is random, and I apologize if it's in the wrong forum. What I really want to know, is how is the mail handled once it goes through customs in San Francisco, CA. I'm assuming that's where alot of customs are done. All of my items I tracked by flight and even coming from different countries, ended up in SF so I'm guessing that's a custom thing? Anyway what I really want to know, is after it is accepted through customs, and say it's final destination is Arkansas, will it fly into a closer state or be transported by foot/vehicle

Ps. I will say after reading some questions on here, I will advise that I have found it easier, especially when no tracking number is available, but a flight number is, to track the flight. At that point you know when it hits the us at least. Also I have found that the hang up is usually customs and not the mail on either end.
