Hi, I ordered something from ebay on November 1st, and there have been absolutely no updates on my package since the 5th of the month. 17-track.net seems to indicate that it left Shanghai to NY on the 5th, late at night. USPS indicates that it hasn't even left China. Here on China Post, it says my number is invalid?! I've been waiting for longer than a month, and I have no idea as to what the hell is going on.

Tracking No. is LK062194607CN

The seller insists that he shipped it, but trying to get answers from both China Post and the USPS has been like pulling teeth.

To my knowledge the package does not contain any hazardous materials, it's a collectable, made of plastic/rubber, with a couple metal parts (screws, etc). I ordered it well before Christmas time, so it should've arrived before the season got too busy.

2. Your parcel is On Route/In transit to USA JFK. Parcel to USA can take from 15 to 35 days to be deliver and sometimes more.

3. For Postal Office it's the Holiday Season right now so mail is very slow.

4. Just continue to track your parcel on the USPS site for any new movement.

Hope this help.

I ordered it in November... There's no reason it should take this long. It's not like I ordered it today or this month for that matter. I ordered the day after Halloween for crying out loud, this is completely unacceptable.

But beyond that, China Post is still saying that my number isn't associated with a package of any kind.

1. Then if your not satisfied, you have the option of contacting the seller and tell him that your parcel has not arrive and you want your money back.

2. You should track your parcel on this Official site from China Post EMS:
http://www.ems.com.cn/english.html

Hope this help.

I have, and he keeps trying to push back the refund, I've tried twice now.

That said, if he shipped it, it's out of his hands. It's China Post's or USPS' fault that it hasn't arrived, not his. How could the transit take nearly a month and a half? Has it just been sitting still somewhere for an extended period of time? If that's not inefficient, I don't know what is.

I'm not trying to lash out against anyone in particular, but as I said, this is totally unacceptable. I don't get it.

1. Here is something about EMS China:

format 3: the number starts with “E” and ends with “CN”, i.e. EE123456789CN, EA987654321CN
This is China Post Express Post Service (EMS). Normally it is much faster than airmail and might take one to four weeks to arrive. The price is also much higher than airmail.

format 4: the number starts with “L” and ends with “CN”, i.e. LK123456789CN, LN987654321CN,LM123456789CN,
This is China Post ePacket parcel. It is almost as faster as EMS and only a little bit more expensive than airmail.
However, ePacket service is only available to limited countries such as USA, Canada, Australia,UK etc.

2. Also this apply to any country in the World:

Customs operates on their own schedule, and they don’t care how badly you want your package. Some places open and inspect almost everything, some don’t; some places process packages very efficiently, some do not.

Thanks.

How does that help me exactly?

You're only kind of telling me that I have one of the fastest shipping methods available for my package, and yet...big surprise...it still isn't here. It's been 41 days since it shipped.

I get that customs works at their own pace, but it supposedly went out to NY from Shanghai on the 5th! How the hell is it not here yet?

Yeah that's a super long time. If the seller is not giving you back a refund, by all means, go through your credit card company, PayPal, eBay, or whatever you used. Somebody's gotta have your back!
